pat was the kind of guy who every other week would overdraw his bank account for beer so you didn't have to.

pat was the guy who would do just about anything that made him happy, and therefore, was always, always smiling.

pat was the dude who called himself cal ripken after not taking off work for THREE DAYS STRAIGHT.

pat could scream "COME ON BIG SEXY" at baseball players and get away with it.

one time pat vomited on my couch and i wasn't mad at him the next day.

one time pat showed up at my apartment, broke in, passed out on my couch, apologized the next morning and then took me out to breakfast. when we went out to the "SCARE-AVAN" it was still running. it had been all night.

pat was funny and he was generally harmless and he reminded you of a young santa claus, not a 30-something who still lived with his parents because for some reason his maturity was stunted in a way that kept him from living a "normal" 30-year old's life. he was my friend of 13 years. he was found dead in his bed last sunday morning.

i'll miss him.
