I just had the most disgusting donut I've ever had in my life. I think it was a "mini-cruller". I bit into it and it felt like my entire mouth was coated in a slick of lard and/or wax. ptooey.
My mom got a bag of these at the bakery thrift store and I think she should have left them there.
The bakery thrift store is cool as hell, though...if you keep an eye out for mold. You can get 2 loaves of bread for $1. I got this big fancy-looking fruitcake there once but when I got it home it had honey in it and so that was a big waste
