They both define theselves through opposition, I think for slightly different resons. Nalds wants to be the one who knows, and Vinth wants to hate you because you're a dumbfuck. Nalds wants to be there to rub your nose in it and say, see I told you so. Vinth would like to see you suffer because evevrything you care about is dying and then he could laugh.

Nalds is getting hysterical. Vinth is stark raving mad.
