I have a feeling Milhouse doesn't know what Cyrillic is.
My guess is that you'd have to change the keyboard language, which you can do by accessing the keyboard settings and they you toggle them usually by pressing shift+alt. At least, that's how I go about making things bädäss with ümläüts.
