The term political correctness refers to language that is calculated to give as little offense as possible to religious, ethnic, or cultural groups. It generally does not refer to limiting the use of curse words.

I do try to be somewhat "politically correct", writing chairperson for chairman, humankind for mankind, Native American instead of Indian, writing Ms. instead of Mrs. or Miss, etc.

But I draw the fucking line when people start writing the "women" as womyn.
