What sorts of gifts are and aren't appropriate? Can we do like food and stuff as long as it's nonperishable?
Sure, foods are fine, but yeah... make sure it's not something that's going to rot/expire. And if you are sending foods, be sure to wrap them up real good to prevent anything getting ruined.
