Uhhh...don't they kill and revive comic book characters all the time?
I started reading comics when the whole onslaught thing went on. I remember the fantastic four, the hulk and some more got killed. I remember when they got reintroduced afterwards with some bullshit story of what really happened. It's been awhile since I read a comic book.
