The Vikings selected John David Booty in the 5th round. I think it's a great pick, especially in the 5th round. Booty will come in and push Tarvaris Jackson to solidify his starting spot. If Jackson falters this year, I expect Booty to get serious consideration for the starting job in 09.
Wow, I expected him to go much sooner than that honestly.
