Go listen to the bands that are considered first wave 'emo' and then go listen to what people call 'emo' now (which is just about everything that features someone who has kind of long or strange hair or sings about a girl or something macabre, so I guess you'd be listening to the Beatles, The Ramones, and every band that isn't disco/techno). The term 'emo' is now like calling someone a fag. The difference is everyone knows what a homosexual is, but none of these idiots know enough about music to actually understand 'emo'. It's all disgusting and I'm sick of hearing about emo.
