My guess is he's not even that rich, I mean he hasn't exactly done much in the last few years - and how much money could you actually make selling t-shirts to ill-informed TV personalities that wish to appear edgy? Particularly as it's just as likely they'll buy a Motorhead t-shirt instead.

Maybe he needed a new kitchen and these adverts paid for it. I hear kitchens are expensive.
