I read "The Sandman" collection, including "Endless Nights," "The Dream Hunters," and the two Death tbps, at least twice a year, and it seems like I find new things in them every time. I agree that "Preludes and Nocturnes" is not that great looking, but Gaiman's storytelling overrides that.
