Exactly. Musical aesthetics are subjective. You listen to it and you either like it or you don't. Your judgement could be based on any number of criteria but an "opinion" can never be wrong because it's true to you. I think that when you start talking about a band's sincerity, though, you're going beyond the realm of what's provided in the music. What you call sincerity can be faked easily enough.
