I remember during a very difficult time in my life I confided in you I-mockery Forums. I broke my anonymity and spilled my guts. I didn't hide anything and when I was done you gazed at me with those brilliant searching eyes, those eyes I trusted implicitly, and you said something I'll never forget, "what're you, gay?"

It hurt so bad

Some people claim to be feminist, imagining themselves as modern day Simone De Beauvoirs. Believing that they stand unwavering against traditional gender roles, against the status quo. But nobody nowhere can claim to have hated the patriarchy more than I-mockery Forums did. Why when one of our friends would come to us with the heavy news that their father had passed away, I-mockery Forums' face would light up with such bliss that nobody would believe such euphoria could come from the orphaning of a friend. Soon she would, unprovoked, begin to verbally savage our once friend and their dead father. Extreme? Maybe, but she was only following her moral compass and I've always respected that.

Still I'm glad my father has outlived her.
