I played the demo and really liked it, but my friend who got the game a while back said that the demo was better made than the game itself.
For starters, the game is having a lot of performance issues with machines that greatly exceed the recommended requirements, and the forums are littered with complaints on this very subject. And then, there's a lot of talk that the game crashes at random intervals. That, combined with the performance problem, makes the game sound a lot like Splinter Cell: Double Agent, and that's enough to scare me away from it (or at least from paying for a copy).
Then, he pointed out that melee combat is pretty much a breeze, which I could see in the demo. Sure, it was a little tricky with mages and bow users, but since just about everybody could be flattened by just mashing the LMB, you'll be practically flying through the game.
I'll still probably get around to playing it sometime, but I think I'll wait until a few more of the issues with are resolved.
