Punk is dead. It's nothing more than a goddamn fashion statement now.

"I fucking hate all punk. There's absolutly no talent in that music WHAT SO EVER. I'm a Emo/Screamo/Indie rock man myself."

Yeah, because you've got to have real talent to cry and scream about how pathetic your life is and make emo records. Now THAT"s talent.

Emo=country music-twang.

Punk is being a girl, and having short spikey hair in the back, and long bangs.

Alot of 13 year old girls have that haircut.

I want to fuck 13 year old girls.

In conclusion, Tupac sucked, and I'm glad the ****** died. :/

Real punk is dead. All that is left is "pop-punk" liek New Found Glory, Avril. Good Charlotte doesn't really count becasue they know what they are.

Punk is stopping at 18 bars before playing a show, spitting beer at your lead singer and guitarist, throwing your $1200 bass into the crowd halfway through a song because you have a defective cord, cowering in a corner, and then pissing on a monitor. Consequently, the last show my band played was the epitome of punk, despite the fact that we were considered a metal band. Oh, and also getting paid and not sharing any of it with the other bands.

Punks not dead, you just have to know where to look or listen in this case. yeah, theirs not a lot of 'new' punk but since its sucha simple genre you cant be sirprised when its rehashed. flogging molleys getting popular now, but tere just dropkick murphy rip offs who are just a more hardcore version of the pogues... punk means a lot of different things to everyone.

You all take this too seriously, and it makes you sound like high schoolers.

...Hence it's death. Though i think its beginnings were more of a stillbirth than anything else.

Punk was needed in the late seventies in the UK because the only type of music around was over-polished poppy crap, it was a reaction where they went to the exact opposite. Record Labels killed punk, like they are killing all music. If you want to support music, steal it.

Dumbass.

If you want to support music, go at gigs of bands you like, buy their t-shirts, recommend them to friends, buy their demos or internet-albums and contact them to let them know their music means something to you.

Asshole. It fucking shows you've never had a band.

Anyone who says punk is dead is either; Too lazy to go out and find good music and are trying to make exuses for their lame taste, An old fart who can't accept the fact that no one is impressed by their powerchords since they graduated high school, or just some ignorant fuck who likes to stir the shit kettle. Stir on Numbnuts, nobody cares.
Honoring the Veterans of Punk, how about Sammy Davis Jr. Here you had a Black Jew who married a White Woman (Swedish no less!) and dabbled in Satanism just for sexual kicks. Punks not dead but Sammy sure is. He will be missed.
