There were a lot of rumors flying around recently that Ness or Earthbound wouldn't be returning due to poor reception from the US. This scared me because while I only sorta kinda liked Earthbound, I'm really good with Ness and love his whole character.

Well, I'M certainly relieved!

a lot of the dumbasses on Serebii say he isn't on it because sakurai said that "his power might surpass even Ness"

I generally like fast characters and after watching the video I think he'll be fun to play if I can look past his child stabbingly annoying appearance and voice and the fact that he's accompanied by grunge rock

Nintendo really knows how to market a game, I keep getting more and more excited for this thing. I didn't realize I still liked sonic this much, I even recall arguing against him being in this game but now that his been confirmed I'm burn 'in up bro. I wonder what kind of stage he'll have, maybe the death egg or green hills with Dr. Robotnik in the background shifting through different egg machines.
