so wiffles do you think the writers of the show were aware of the "cupcakes" fanfic when they wrote "party of one", and do you think they were deliberately making reference to it when they had rainbow dash confront pinkie in sugarcube corner

I haven't read of Cupcakes; but from what I know (and I tend to not XP), The Party Of One ep (as was all of season 1) was written prior to the show being popular. It could have been possible that Pinkie's insanity was magnified and adjusted later on due to cupcakes, but IMO this could have been just a coincidence. Even before cupcakes, most people speculated on PP's insane tendencies. The song "Giggle At The Ghosties" from early eps drove people to speculate on a possible mental breakdown in the past that she uses laughing as a coping mechanism. How much the writers made use of elements from the speculation remains vague to me. Here's another Interesting one. In the Ep Birdle Gossip. The Pony who runs the spa is shown alone. After that ep aired, there was speculation that she had a twin sister and arts about it popped immediately. A few months later with the ep "Green Is Not Your Color", Spa pony is shown with a Twin Sister! XP IDK how many ideas they take from the fandom but they prolly do this alot. I still think some are coincidences 6_9

lol each character's flaws so far Twi - OCD (not so flawed) Apple - Just a stubborn hick (prolly the least flawed of all?) RD - Scared of failure, extreme stage fright. Despite being jock, cries in the corner. Pinkie - Insane Fluttershy - Anger issues Rarity - dramatic mental breakdowns I hope we can see more of them being driven off the edge in s2 :D

Captains Log, stardate 062211. Have entered a strange dimensional void in the outer Pegasus galaxy. Every second in the Pony-less void feels like an eternity. Time holds no meaning anymore the further we travel into the void. Calculations indicate that in around 3 months, we shall re-enter the Pegasus star cluster. That might as well have been 3 Earthian lifecycles.
