Just got back from Florida after a 4 hour delay. Fuck JetBlue.
Final verdict:
Epcot is awesome...if you're five. Otherwise, it's boring, and actually really outdated. It's really fun for food, though; you can take a bus from one of the other parks to Epcot then eat at a different country every night. But aside from food, Epcot really, really sucks.
Hollywood Studios (formerly MGM) is probably the best park. The animation studio is fun for cartoonists like me to ooh and aaah at (lots of production art from older movies), and the rides are just plain better (Aerosmith's ride is still my favorite. Went on it 4 times this week). The new Star Tours ride is really great if you remember the original (there's a funny scene where the old pilot steps out and C3P0 accidentally becomes the new pilot). It's a way cooler ride.
Universal Studios is like Disney, but none of the employees are happy. Or good at faking happy. The X-Men were riding around on mopeds and they weren't even hamming it up. Meanwhile, the Magic Kingdom has an opening ceremony every day at 9AM that ends with fireworks. Universal's really just a bunch of dicks. Though the Simpsons and Harry Potter rides were really good.
There was a beauty pageant going on at my hotel. I was talking to one of the contestants. She was really pretty. And taller than me even though I'm 6'. Then I realized it was a TEEN pageant and went back to my room
OH AND NO ONE IN FLORIDA SAYS "EXCUSE ME". FUCKING PEOPLE BUMPING INTO ME AND SHIT AND DON'T SAY A DAMN THING. FUCK.
ALSO GODDAMN THAT'S A BIG CHEESEBURGER. LOOK HOW HAPPY HE IS.
