Trying to fight monsters more than 4 levels higher than you is usually a bad idea since they resist everything you toss at them. There's also a "crushing blow" thing that high level monsters can do to low level players which is like triple damage or something.

Krothos and I were in a group with a few other guildies collecting stuff for our doomguard quests in Winterspring tonight. After a few kills, Eye of Shadow dropped for us, so one of our priests is very happy.
