LOW BUDGET PIRATE! (You know, for those who can't get eyepatches and use their hands!)

Only PUSSIES use cutlasses! I, the Low Budget Pirate, use a KATANA!

AVAST YE SCURVY DOGS! BEWARE MY POINTY FINGER!

What pirate could be complete without a Pirate's Treasure? Of course, my booty would be a bunch of leftover Mardi Gras beads.

Again, for those of us who can't afford eyepatches, a PARROT for on the shoulder is a bit hard to come by. A good housedog makes a wonderful substitute.

Ahh, and this is for Jeanette.

SCURVY DOG!

Your dog looks rather forlorn in that picture when he's on your shoulder.

Well, he wasn't too happy that I picked him up and put him on my shoulder to take a picture.

but I buy the dog food, he can deal with being on my shoulder for a few seconds.

I was going to put cat on my shoulder for my picture, but it proved problematic

I'm not sure, but I think it has something to do with water from his eyes staining his fur or something like that. There were brown spots there to begin with, when we got him as a puppy, but they've gotten darker as he got older. It doesn't come off when I give him a bath, so I assume it's there to stay.

That's why I substituted a dog instead. Cats come equipped with their own cutlasses, and they hurt like hell

Have you spoken to the vet about it? My late poodle had something like that, and the vet told us how to clear it off.

No, I haven't talked to the vet about it, but I'd think if it were a great cause of concern, the vet would've warned me about it. But I do try to wash it off every time regardless.

It's pretty common with dogs though, every dog I've ever owned has had that problem.

I'd still mention it to the vet, just in case.
And if ever dog you've ever owned has had that problem, maybe the dogs are having an allergic reaction to something in your house. You never know.

My dog has the tear-streaks as well. It's mainly because she's a mongrel, but it has something to do with under- or overdeveloped tear ducts. We occasionally clean it up, but it's fairly futile work. I don't think it really bothers the dogs, anyway.

My aunts dog gets the same stuff, and the vet told her to cut it out or something. Ask your vet about it.

That truck I'm in is named "Old Blue", and she'd protect me from a claw. So far that truck is more dependable than anyone I know.
