Why are these comics still in newspapers? I don't think I've ever read one that was funny.

It's "Hi and Lois". And really the comics section is pretty much garbage save for three or four strips. I like Foxtrot and Sherman's Lagoon...and maybe Zits. That's it.

What the fuck is Funky Winkerbean, do you all get that? It's always in the paper, and so is "Rex Morgan" (gay) and "The Phantom" which is supposed to be an action comic, but it's hard to follow really, when 20 minutes of action takes place in 3 cells.

The reason Bill Watterson stopped Calvin and Hobbes is that he kept getting bugged constantly to let companies to make toys and shirts and cartoons and other things like that, and he felt that it would ruin his comic. He's kinda right, just look at Garfield (except Garfield and Friends rocked)

Dilbert, Zits, and Foxtrot, Pickles, Heathcliff, Mother Goose & Grimm, and Red & Rover are the only ones i can think of off the top of my head that i really like. I still love Garfield, though.
