Got to see this great movie in the theaters once again. Director's cut edition. More gore, more killing... it was just awesome.

Though, the highlight of the night was when Big Daddy first found the jackhammer, and started using it. I yelled out "That Zombie's Jacking off!" Inside joke a again. People laughed.

I didn't like this movie at all. Had really high hopes for it too since it was George Romero 'n all... but it was just weak as hell. I can't imagine the Director's Cut possibly having enough good stuff in it to make it worth watching again.

I thought it was a decent movie and all the directors cut has is a bit more gore and other extra little scenes, but if you didn't like the movie to begin with don't bother checking out the dvd.

While I'll be quick to admit, this movie is the worst of the "of the dead" films, it still has some pretty memorable scenes. Most notably the scene when the dead reckoning drives up to the Electric fences near the end, the "hey look out!" scene. Most of all Tom Savini's cameo.

I was hoping that something would happen to the dead reckoning that rendered it inoperable and forced the people to actually battle their way back to FG on foot. Because thats seemingly the one thing a romero film hasn't done, put the people out in the open. The survivors have always barricaded themselves in something.

i liked it.

it makes sense that they adapt.
not so much sense on the whole "feelings" bit, but i learned to disagree amicably on that point.

Has anyone seen the resident evil TV commercials he directed for the game's release in Japan? They have Brad Renfro in them.
