I decieded to give this album a listien. For some weird reason I like it and hate it at the same time. I can't get enough of Push Th' Lil Daises.

I also realise that We're Only In It For The Money sounds a lot like a Ween album for some reason...

When I first bought Pure Guava, i really didn't know what to think about it. I sort of put it up for a few weeks and then listened to it a couple more times at school and fucking loved it. I don't know why.

Plenty of great songs, but Ween's worst after White Pepper.

I think most people's problem with White Pepper is that its ween trying a cleaner sound, given that, i still think its a fucking great album. If i had to complain about it, i would say its too damn short.

It's not the production that does it for me (although if it were up to me, I would give it that classic Ween "brown" kind of sound), it's just that the songs aren't up to Ween's usual standards, in my opinion. And on Pure Guava, they seem to be trying to be a joke band more than on their other records. My favorite would have to be either The Pod or Chocolate and Cheese. I would choose GWS if it didn't give me a headache. I like screaming generally, but there's just a tad too much.
