Well, I was thinking about HeroQuest, because this girl said I was the coolest guy ever for picking it as my favorite game. So I pulled it out to have a look at it again.

Well, the painted figures are still intact (yay), but I'm keeping them out until I can buy a sealant. I also need to buy new Warhammer paints because the ones I have are all dried out and/or gelatin-ized. But to my dismay, I can't find the furniture pieces for the game. I worry I left them at my friend's house a while back, and they're probably lost in the clutter. I'm also missing two monster cards (Orc and Chaos Warrior).

But I'm also looking around and cleaning, up, to see if I can find them. And I'm finding other fun things:

Nintendo sticker cards. Nintendo used to have these "game cards" that even came with the mandatory rock-hard stick of gum. These cards were little scratch games, where you had to see if you could get 3 of the same thing or whatever. So half of the cards were like that, and the other half were stickers. I found a bunch of the stickers. 27 to be exact. The games featured are Mario, Zelda, Double Dragon (I even have a Bobo Abobo sticker, Les), and Punch Out. I'd scan them if I could, but there's no way geocities would let me link to all of them.

Also in the same pile, I found some random Marvel, football, and baseball cards. But who gives a fuck.

I had those; Mario got cloned in them or whatever. I think they came with Pringles.

Which four are they? I'm assuming one of them is the Simon's Quest book, because almost everyone had that one

Actually, I didn't have that one.

These are all Super Mario books. They're:

1 - Double Trouble: Pringles Special Edition
2 - Leaping Lizards: Pringles Special Edition
3 - Monster Mix-Up
6 - Doors to Doom

I'll have to scan these (and the cards) in for Rog's next Nintendo Products piece. I'm also checking out eBay, and getting some good pictures off there.

I want a Legend of Zelda board game.

Also in my search for Nintendo funjinks on eBay, I saw some handfull of the old Worlds of Power books for like $8. I really wish I had a job so I could buy this shit.

I didn't even know they had a book for Wizards & Warriors. The sequel to that game was impossible to beat, and had Fabio on the catridge and box.

I didn't have ANY Mario CYOA books

All the books I had were other games. I had Simon's Quest, Blaster Master, Mega Man 2, and some other one's that I can't remember.

I wish I could find them, but they were probably thrown out years ago. Sad.

i used to have all the pieces for 2 HeroQuest sets too. We cut up the boards, so we could make custom dungeons and we built 2 level systems with erasers. It was the greatest time

Blaster Master was the greatest game ever. I'm serious.

And I wish I had some Mario CYOA books. They would probably be the best books I would ever read, too.

Jamesman, Make your own furniture using air drying clay.
paint it your self.
That's what I do.
You can make all sorts of wicked things with Pas (I think that's the brand I use), & some exact-o knives.
For you gammers out there, I used to make my own walls outa the stuff, as well as traps, & room dressings.
It helps if you are creative, if your not get a friend to do it.
