at first i was skeptical, but it seems that the deftones are back with a new sound once again.
Saturday Night Wrist /emo is truely a unique album, sounding different than every other album they've released. if you're a deftones fan, and you've waited for a new release as long as i have, then i definetly reccomend a listen.
my favorites include:
Rapture - genuine deftones sound
Beware - great piano work and
ghastly, haunting vocals
Mein - this features serj tankian of system of a down fame, a great great sounding song
Kimdracula - just all around great vocals on this one
i realize a lot of you idiots dont care for deftones and with the 2003 self-titled release i cant blame you, but give this a listen before you jump in about how they suck
