Old Dec 17th, 2005, 08:44 PM        Naughty America: The Game announced
I don't know how to feel.

"Developed by Safe Escape Studios, Naughty America: The Game is the first of its kind, a massively multiplayer online world that allows players to do what they've always wanted to... be naughty."

Is this what online gaming is going to come down to? Being naughty?

With great games like City of Heroes, City of Villains, Guild Wars, World of Warcraft, Call of Duty, and countless free ones, why would someone want the chance to be "naughty"?!
I weep knowing that this game about being "naughty" will outshadow truly great online games.

"The fun and stylish game play begins with creating a unique fantasy persona by choosing from different body types, skin tones, and clothing options. Choices can be changed or modified at any time by visiting plastic surgeons, clothing shops, hair salons, tattoo parlors and other in-game hot spots.
The game features three different, eye-popping neighborhoods, each with their own distinct flavor:

-- Downtown offers gritty nightlife, back alleys, sex shops, video arcades, and loft apartments.

-- Uptown has outdoor cafes, a stunning central park, a casino, and luxury condo accommodations.

-- The Beach offers boardwalk games and activities, a cruise ship getaway, poolside bars and clubs, swimming, and seaside housing."

What GTA game did I miss out on?

GTA online does sound cool, but this is not GTA online.

I've just noticed how extremely pointless this thread is.

well gta san andreas has similar persona-customization, plus it has

Quote:

-- Uptown has outdoor cafes, a stunning central park, a casino, and luxury condo accommodations.
all of that, and

Quote:
-- The Beach offers boardwalk games and activities, a cruise ship getaway, poolside bars and clubs, swimming, and seaside housing."
all of that except the cruise ship? plus dont forget the hot coffee mod wink wink

My apologies for not thoroughly reading your comment. I see you mentioned only the aspects of a free-roaming game. Not neccesarily the game GTA itself. Yes, grand theft auto did have those environments, but was that the point of the game?

Unless there's a furry sexshop.

Plus, Second Life didn't have any of those in the beta. Worst we had were people called ****** Domino with huge penises flying around.
