pat was the guy who would do just about anything that made him happy, and therefore, was always, always smiling.

pat was the dude who called himself cal ripken after not taking off work for THREE DAYS STRAIGHT.

pat could scream "COME ON BIG SEXY" at baseball players and get away with it.

one time pat vomited on my couch and i wasn't mad at him the next day.

one time pat showed up at my apartment, broke in, passed out on my couch, apologized the next morning and then took me out to breakfast. when we went out to the "SCARE-AVAN" it was still running. it had been all night.

pat was funny and he was generally harmless and he reminded you of a young santa claus, not a 30-something who still lived with his parents because for some reason his maturity was stunted in a way that kept him from living a "normal" 30-year old's life. he was my friend of 13 years. he was found dead in his bed last sunday morning.

i'll miss him.

I have a friend that reminds me of Pat in a way. His name is Jesse.

Jesse had never knew what having a home of his own to go to every night was like, until he just recently bought his first apartment at 24.

Jesse never really knew any of his real family, and considers his friends to be his family.

Jesse worked for everything he ever got, and knows the value of a dollar.

Jesse unfortunately also knows the value of 4 grams of coke every other night.

Jesse unfortunately has an inability to commit.

Jesse will probably die from contracting hepatitis, due to his 'pantie dropping whores' he uses.

Jesse has his degree from Buffalo University in Psychology, and works with little children.

Jesse once got away with taking a bottle of old Ritalin he found from one of those kids.

Jesse is the most narcissistic dick I've ever met, but he's been a best friend of my for over eight years, and although he can be a sarcastic asshole; I can never stay mad at him, especially knowing I am one of the very few people in his life he will apologize too.

Jesse now lives by himself, in an area that is filled with different nightclub's and lounge bars only two blocks away from his residence.

It sometimes scares me, that he will be on something and never be the same afterward.

i just remembered this one time when pat got into a full blown fight with some guy at a bar because the dude LOOKED like derek jeter and pat hated derek jeter.

pat also wrote me a very adolescent love poem when he was drunk one night and sent it to me over email and i got it and read it, but then he called me really early the next morning and told me to run to my computer and delete the email from him and i never had the heart to tell him that i had already read it because HOW COULD I?

the more awesome stories you tell us about pat the more he will be remembered forever for his awsomeness did he really like you or was he just so drunk he sent the letter? or were you guys young?

David was always a go-getter, he was validictorian of his high school but when he had to give his speech he was bald from the cancer I ofcourse didn't go to highschool to see this, but at his funeral they played the video and it made me so sad :/

he really liked me, probably loved me and i loved him the best i could as a friend, but it just wasn't there for me beyond that. i met him when i was 18. he didn't change one single bit in the almost 14 years i knew him. there were periods of time where we didn't talk often, but pat was the kind of guy who was always your friend. he didn't hold grudges at all.

haha, i JUST remembered this one time when pat, verlie and i went to a silent auction and pat bid on a party at a strip club for 20 of his closest friends that included 20 steak dinners. he won the auction and HAD NO MONEY so i had to pay for it and then the mofo didn't invite me

I'm sorry. Like noob i'm kinda too young to hafta worry bout that but I did know one chick that was really cool and is basically dead. U might kno her.
The only reason i think u might kno her is cause when i was little i used to get u 2 confused cause she changed her name from Karen and i never did figure out if u 2 had ever met. Anyway if u didn't kno her that's too bad.

She was an awesome person. She had a really nice apartment and we even gave her one of our many kittens.

She was really pretty and had a cool moon tattoo. She had the coolest job ever. She even had a pinball machine and massage chair in her office.

A couple of years ago she quit her job and moved down to VA beach for a while. When she came back she was really different.

She looked like a skeleton and talked like she had crap in her throat. I heard she was doing drugs and had ODed once or twice and had even died in the hospital one nite but they got her going again. She really had gotten involved in the wrong crowd.

Recently I heard through my parents that she is in jail. Hopefully one day i will meet her again and she will be clean. That would be nice cause she was just the nicest person ever.
