Ok, so i guess there is absolutely NO WAY for me to possibly know anything about Ronald Reagan or why I should dislike him and his policies. People simply cannot formulate opinions through facts and knowledge.

Just because Reagan died or he had a weird disease, it does not mean that we can't make fun of him. In fact, it only opens up dozens of new doors to areas of possible joke-making, from "Reagan at the Pearly Gates" to "Tom Green humping a dead Reagan."

I don't think that Reagan can be compared to Hitler or Mao or anyone else. I mean by all accounts Hitler was a very charismatic leader and had the nazis won WW2 I would think that we would think he is a great leader. I guess this argument can go both ways, so That's why im kinda tired of people referring to Hitler in these types of arguments.

The reason I find it wrong to disrespect the dead is vastly religous and philosophical. I believe in letting the crimes of the dead die with them, I guess I've felt that way since I read the play Antigone... :/

Is it fair to compare him on that sort of scale? I mean, as long as we're making value judgements about the goodness of famous people's lives...
