Dead Rising Demo

I finally got to try the demo for this game. God, the cut-scenes are awesome, and the game... damn addictive. I spent a good 20 minutes just shoving coathangers down Zombie's throats.

So much to do, and the demo has only a very VERY small selection of abilities.

I need to get a 360 now. Not just play off my friends.

i hate the 'walk down the wrong way and have to restart the demo again' feature the demo has, but overall its quite fun.

i can see myself renting this when it comes out

I'm pretty impressed with it. There are so many different types of weapons, Spitting on the zombies is funny as hell.

My favorite weapons in the demo so far from what I played has got to be the fake plastic light saber & the bowling ball. Zombie bowling rocks.

I also played the demo over the weekend. I'm undecided on this game. The demo was pretty fun but I can see the game getting boring quickly. This looks like a "rent first" title.

I've played quite a bit of the full game now and I like this game. Finally getting some cool moves. While a lot of people are complaining about the save feature (1 slot, timed events) fighting with its own timed events, I actually find the whole system refreshing.

Yeah they made a few nods. The full game is actually quite fun if you don't mind the save/event structure.

Finished Overtime mode over the weekend and got the A ending. Now I unlocked Infinite mode... Don't even know if I want to touch that. The 360 likes to crash every once in a while and I can see being 10 hours in and it shitting out.

I really enjoy the game though and I don't really want it to be over. I have 28 of the 50 achievements. I guess I can try for some more. Maybe go for Saint, Genocide and Transmissionary. I could have gotten Transmissionary but I missed a couple key survivors I guess. Only ended up saving 29.

Killed 11,000 zombies in that run. I can see how it wouldn't actually be that bad to get the Genocide achievement. If you get into the maintenance tunnels right away you can probably do it rather easily.

- Insanely stupid fucking AI. Earlier I had 4 people following me, and I swear at one point they were all just running into each other.

I know there's a few more things but I can't remember em right now.

The AI is rather dumb. The only good thing is that you can point them to go somewhere and just stay there. Hope you knew that.

I played it on a HDTV, so my only complaint is the AI. Like zomboid, I had trouble with the AI following me.

And when they had weapons, never give them weapons! They get pretty much infinite ammo, but they will shoot you/other survivors :/ Usually killing them :/

Fun title to go back & play whenever 8)
