Old Oct 21st, 2004, 01:14 AM        NEW MINIMOCK: "BUSCH GARDENS HOWL-O-SCREAM!"
I recently went to the big Busch Gardens amusement park in Williamsburg to check out their yearly "Howl-O-Scream" festivities. Check out this in-depth look at all of their Halloween attractions!

I remember the used-coffin salesman from when I went there last year. He promised me a coffin with a DVD player :/

Awesome. I want a Jack of the Lantern costume, too. And then I want to go trick or treating / breakdancing with Wolfman.

Rog,

I took offense at one segment of your story...comparing the gay pirate skeletons to a gay aerobics instructor. I am a somewhat gay aerobics instructor, and I have NEVER worn a headband of any kind. Thank you.

Love,

Cosmo.

Does the 'somewhat gay' refer to you, your instruction, or the aerobics?

If it refers to your instruction, does that mean you are instructing people on how to be somewhat gay, or do gay aerobics?

Seeking clarity,

MAX

Dear Max,

I am an aerobics instructor...not gay...but the subject of much speculation. Thus the "somewhat gay" remark.

More butch than Richard Simmons,

Cosmo

P.S. Aerobics are only gay if performed properly.....or in leg warmers.

wooooOOOoooo the haunted lighthouse featuring almost vomiting kids and a frisbee that defies the laws of physics

the park looked bad-ass, i was in busch gardens florida in the summer, which isnt anywhere nearly as spooky as halloween (except the insane food prices)

What's the Florida park like anyway? How many coasters does that one have? Does it have the same kind of multiple-countries theme going?

yes, but with egypt, mararakech (spelling?), the congo, Serengeti etc,

some of the rides are pretty cool , not as good as 'the hulk' (universial studios) but pretty good, the montu (the main coaster) tends to have small lines later in the day ( 9 times in one trip! zero lines!) . the python (cue HILARIOUS monty python jokes) is a really short ride but good. there are a couple of other good coasters and rides (and i got a massive spongbob on one of the games )

the whole place is 75% theme park, 25% zoo, so there is a 'plain' with a bunch of semi-free roaming animals. if you want to hear the worlds funniest jokes you will go on the AMAzing jurrassic park-esc jeep tour-on-rails thing (forget the name). they can really keep the punters laughing by saying how much an elephant looks like their mother in law. i laugh just thinking about it.

oh and free beer! (terms and conditions apply)

Damn they have Egypt in the Florida one? They could probably do some badass stuff for Halloween with that... like a haunted pyramid with mummies 'n stuff. :o

Nice.

Yeah, Halloween Horror Nights is a billion times better. I went to both this year.
Damn this message board for making the monocle emoticon look shitty.
