What would you do if you found a secret Nazi bondage room while renovating?

These are the types of questions you need to as yourself when buying things from relatives.

good luck with the house thing. Its awesome to have your own garage and backyard and not share walls with neighbors.

i got my first house a couple years back. Luckily the real estate prices are so low in Texas I havent lost too much(if any, i got a pretty good deal!) on the value even with this recession bullshit.

too bad it didnt make me a responsible adult

It kinda smells like old people, but I think I can air that out pretty easily.

It's a pretty sweet house. Three bedroom, approx 1300 sq ft. The basement is only partly finished, though, but the upstairs is really nice. It has a big yard, too.

There are two doors in the basement where the door is covered in wood panelling to match the walls, so all you see are two doorknobs sticking out. I will turn those into dead body storage. :O

Housing prices are pretty stable in Winnipeg. The price will be around 200K, which is a bit under the average price for a house this size.

That's because there are like a billion people and only a dozen houses which are already filled with Mexicans.

My aunt and I signed all the papers, so now it's up to the lawyers and bank to do the other things. :O

I've seen houses go for $6,000 in Mastic, New York.

Edit: http://www.homes.com/Content/Listing...earchorig=main

Long url, but $1300. If you have to wonder why it is that low... you're just thick.

I think that $1300 is a mistake, this is supposed to be a rental listing and the monthly rent got put in as the asking price. Even for long island thats ridiculous.

haha there's waterfront property in north cove, washington that would probably sell for $1300, but that's because the shoreline erodes about 65 feet a year there so "waterfront" means "probably underwater next week"

Houses in Mastic do go for that much. It's regarded as the single worst neighborhood in Long Island and probably all of New York state.

After reading this I began looking at pictures on real estate sites and other shit I see what you mean. Mastic doesn't seem that bad though, if you get a house next to Fire Island park or on the water. The summers there are probably really nice if you don't have kids to put into their shitty schools.
