i just heard a pretty good review on fresh air. joaquin sounds very believable as cash, i think. it's excellent he did his own vocals. i'd love to see it at the theater, but i'll probably end up renting it later.

I wanna see it, but my fucking friends would rather see harry potter and I don't wanna go to a movie alone, even if the only alternative is goddamn harry potter.

I submit that this was a very good movie. The only thing I didn't like was that there was just something about Joaquin that didn't seem to fit Johnny Cash's style/personality but he still did a pretty decent job... also the guy that played Jerry Lee Lewis was a freakin DOUCHEBAG! Nothing like Jerry Lee and just a fag at life.

Anyway good flick, you should check it out

this was a pretty damn good movie. i used to live down the road from johnny in hendersonville and some friends and i saw the film crews and other doods eating at a mexican restaurant in memphis during their taping of this. nice that they didn't decide to do this movie in california or whatever.
also, jerry lee lewis was a TOTAL douchebag in real life. i don't think he really meant to be, but it totally seemed to come out that way.
