No shit. He's done a shitload of good anyway, especially when it came to promoting the Cam Neely foundation.

Leary's got chops.

I am glad that it only took half a dozen roasts for Comedy Central to realize celebrities being roasted by people they've never even met isn't very funny. That's a pretty quick learning curve for those cretins. Is John Stewart going to be there? They can be very funny about each other, especially since Stewart said he'd do Leary's reality show and then backed out and then Leary's reality showed hoovered massively.

But Steven Colbert is my current favorite guy comedian.

Steven Colbert is so fucking awesome. It really pains me that he doesnt have any of his own standup specials, but then again I guess he is not a stand up kinda guy.

- I totally agree, Asshole is a great song!

- I didn't have access to the roast - from what I understand, at least one part was censored for the U.S. broadcast, but was free of censorship for the European broadcast.

Yeah, Stewart is going to be there. I loved that reality show too, I wish it was on longer. The cop show on ABC or whatever wasn't that great though...

Colbert is more of a Character Monologist, like Eric Bogosian. He played mseveral differnt characters in Wigsville, and he was completely awesome. No costumes, just him, but each time he was a completely different person, and it's a shame you don't get to see his range on the Daily Show or even in Strangers, where he was amazing, but only played the one character.

Some funny moments, but overall, I think they were too nice to Leary. :/ Am I think only one who thought so?

I thought it was a Friar's Club roast. Where was Alan King?

And Colin Quinn has some funny jokes, but his delivery is so awful that it kils any humor whatso ever.

There were some great moments, though. Ferrara and Dipoalo killed.

Not a Frair's Club Roast. It wasn't hilarious, but it was still worth watching.

Dane Cook and the priest guy, in my opinion, were the funniest. Especially Dane Cook's line about tipping Ed Lover and Dr. Dre when they bring your car around front for you.

But Denis Leary's final statements made the whole thing worth it.

And they're going to show the damn roast another 30 times by next Sunday and I'll be sick of it.

It was amusing but pretty tame.

The worst part was when that fuckhead Jimmy Breuer showed up

I only saw about the first hour, and laughed a little, but I thought it kinda blew. I'll watch the other half probably today, cause Comedy Central is going to loop it over for a week now.

I thought they were ripping the fat ass guy more than Dennis Leary.

I wish Walken was there in person. It was pretty funny but not exactly what I was hoping for. What I enjoyed more were the reruns of his stand up specials.

Walken's comments were "phoned in" via live telecast and came off kind of flat. I was very disappointed. Ferrara was pretty good. I didn't get to see the whole thing, though. :/

Man that sucked.

The funniest parts, Dane Cook, the Preist, and Leary's rebutle.

Most of the roasters that I looked forward to being there had a recorded segment.

And why was Hurley there (to look good)

On Tough Crowd they said that there going to Roast Colin Quinn next. How many more Remote control jokes can we stand?

El Blanco: I was initially pissed at Carlin for the 10-10-220 thing, but I realized, if the IRS was climbing up my ass for $300,000+ that I owed them, I'd probably loosen my convictions a bit, too.

Not that there weren't some others but Collin Quinn soooo obviously read from his notes that it was irritating. He barely lifted his face from the page. He used to do that a lot on SNL when he was the comedy news anchor. Thank God the teleprompter was able to save a little embarrassment, huh? For his sake, I hope he's a better comedy writer.
