"I don't blame Bush for this situation. I blame the local and state goverments and the federal organizations for fucking this up."
-Vince

So... wait... who's the boss of the federal orgnizations you blame? Well, Bush is Certoff's boss, and Chertoff is Browns boss, Brown heads FEMA. If FEMA fucked up, I guess it's not really Bush's fault. I mean, Bush doesn't run FEMA. But as a good CEO he should be firing Brown and getting someone who isn't a fuck up in there ASAP. Maybe someone who has some disaster relief experience, since there aren't a lot of Arabian Show Horses in need right now. I guess ol' W was doing just that when he said:

"Brownie, you're doing a heck of a job."

And Vinth, see what happens when you talk about fucking Kevins Mom, (As if a Nancy Boy like you could even get it up for anything but a muscle bound Right Wing Blog Writtin' gay escortin' shill) ? He takes the gloves off and pounds you. Which admittedly is not much excercise, but Kevins usually nicer than me you big sack of watery crap. Now get to posting huge mounds of unintentionally hillarious ravings, before someone sets youy on the remains of Trent Lott's Porch, lights you on fire, rings the doorbell and runs.

That's not what we were doing. I was pointing out the irony that in your effort to trash the guy, you linked us an article which basically proves the guy to be a good samaritan.

As for his thoughts on the black panthers, crack, and AIDS-- A lot of people hold quircky little beliefs about history that aren't necessarily consistent with the mainstream. And I would appreciate an answer to my question.

Of course what he said is ridiculous, and it's a good thing for you, too. Once the very sensible denunciations of Bush start to come out over Katrina, you won't have that "crazy rapper guy" to throw off the debate with.
A lot of people hold a lot of quirky little believes about history? So, I guess you consider the Nation of Islam's views "quirky"? About bout Fred Phelps, do you consider his views "quirky"? And who gives a shit about Kanye performing at Live 8? Oh man, he went out there and performed at a concert with the goal of reminding people about poverty. Whoopdie shit. How much money did he give, or was he too busy sorting through his $2,000 gift basket?

Also, what the hell does my feelings about the War Between The States have to do with anything?

You're using this to sidestep the issue, that was my point. Nobody really thinks that Kanye fucking West is the leading critical voice on this issue. If you think class and race had nothing to do with this disaster after the disaster, then I think you're a fucking racist. Yep, I played the race card! Woohoo! RACIST, RACIST, RACIST!

Do you have ADD? Can you follow a discussion at all, or do you just see certain things and run off with it like a fat kid with his ice cream cone? I simply threw that out there because you cited an article which first told us about West calling off one for-profit performance to go perform in one with no profit.

And I'm guessing he gave a lot of money. What is it with you conservatives and using cash donations as a measure of one's compassion? If Sean Penn gives more money to the reconstruction of Iraq than you do, does that make him smarter than you, Vincent? West is giving a lot of money (as he sort of babbled about on NBC) to the Katrina recovery. That means he cares a lot more than you do, right Vincent?

Kanye West comes from a black panther background. He is a product of his upbringing, and much like a lot of people who grow up in certain regions, believing certain things, he thinks things that go off the meter.

Feel free to answer my question at any time.

I'm guessing Vince grew up in a right wing quasi-racist household, so he deserves as much slack as Kanye West.

Its very simple to explain why "us conservatives" use cash donations as a measure of one's compassion. Liberals are the ones who always bitch and complain and giving more money and how the government should give more money to the poor, the downtrodden, the blah blah blah. Although, when it comes to actually ponying up money to get to all these "deserving" groups, liberals would rather give someone else's money then open up their own wallets.

Conservatives give money, liberals give speeches. Which is more effective?

It's just a well know gold standard fact is all so stop weeping out your vagina, Kevin. If you ask a hundred people on the street who has given out more money at charity each one will tell you it wasn't the liberals. It's just known, simple as that.

Oh and what am I, your lexus nexus? Look it up.
