You're using this to sidestep the issue, that was my point. Nobody really thinks that Kanye fucking West is the leading critical voice on this issue. If you think class and race had nothing to do with this disaster after the disaster, then I think you're a fucking racist. Yep, I played the race card! Woohoo! RACIST, RACIST, RACIST!

And who gives a shit about Kanye performing at Live 8? Oh man, he went out there and performed at a concert with the goal of reminding people about poverty. Whoopdie shit. How much money did he give, or was he too busy sorting through his $2,000 gift basket?

Do you have ADD? Can you follow a discussion at all, or do you just see certain things and run off with it like a fat kid with his ice cream cone? I simply threw that out there because you cited an article which first told us about West calling off one for-profit performance to go perform in one with no profit.
And I'm guessing he gave a lot of money. What is it with you conservatives and using cash donations as a measure of one's compassion? If Sean Penn gives more money to the reconstruction of Iraq than you do, does that make him smarter than you, Vincent? West is giving a lot of money (as he sort of babbled about on NBC) to the Katrina recovery. That means he cares a lot more than you do, right Vincent?

Also, what the hell does my feelings about the War Between The States have to do with anything?

Kanye West comes from a black panther background. He is a product of his upbringing, and much like a lot of people who grow up in certain regions, believing certain things, he thinks things that go off the meter.
Feel free to answer my question at any time.
