When they started the waether coverage on isabel, and had it coming right into south carolina I panicked and began stocking up on canned goods, and battening down the hatches. Then about tuesday I find out that the fucker isn't even going to hit my town

Every once in awhile we'd watch the Weathre Channel to check up on it during the last week, before anyone knew where it'd be heading. Because we have a cold front moving in, a lot of people here feared that the cold front would steer the hurricane straight for us...

...and at a 160mph category 5, at the time, that's fucking freaky...

If anything though, it hasn't hit land yet and has already dropped to a Category 2 (this is using information I heard at 10AM this morning, so correct me if I'm wrong).

A Category 2 (Hurricane Lili) did do quite a bit of damage to our state last year, but all in all, other than water high enough to swim in and having no electricity for a week, it wasn't so bad. In fact, after the rain stopped, we even barbecued and stuff (until the cops came around and started enforcing a curfew... damn it, no electricity, a city full of water to play in, and they want us to stay inside or get arrested? BOLLOCKS!)

So I suppose if we see Mr. Mock, Proto or any of the other VA Mockers online on Thursday and Friday, I guess it'll be safe to assume that the hurricane had dwindled a little bit.

The weather channel is a a LIAR NETWORK. There is no hurricane, NOAA is performing a conspiracy to legitimize it's own existance. Hurricane Isabel is never more then a clever ploy to ensure job security for our nations underpaid and underapreciated meteorologists.
As for the status of the climate in the near future, it's just going to rain a lot with heavy winds, however, there is no such thing as a hurricane.
