I still like Casino better but this movie fucking rocks. Back to good Ol' Martin Scorcese. Jack Nickleson is so fucking amazing at playing a psychopath, his best scene in the movie is when he walks out in the bar to talk to Leo, and his sleeves and hands are completely covered in blood, hair messed up, shirt rumpled, no explanation as to his appearence, but the character is so develped by this point, your imagination paints a pretty horrid picture as to what he was doing to someone earlier.

I also loved Walburg playing the character that scorcese would of typically cast joe pesci in. He really pulled off the violent short sewermouth crazy guy. Here's some typical exchanges: (Marky Mark = Detective Dignam)

Ellerby: Go fuck yourself.
Dignam: I'm tired from fucking your wife.
Ellerby: How is your mother?
Dignam: Good, she's tired from fucking my father.

Dignam: You may play a tough guy for your gangster friends, but you don't get nothing past me, you lace-curtain Irish fucking pussy!

Dignam: I'm the guy who does his job. You must be the other guy.

A HA HA HA I LOVE IT


The only thing that was missing was the director trademark, long panning uninterupted shot(s). I'll have to watch it again, because I dont pay attention to that shit the first time I watch a movie, but the movie seemed to have more choppy editing and felt a little more rushed that its predecesors, Goodfellas and Casino. But it was still fucking awesome, lots of blood, EVERYone gets thier fucking head blown off, brains everywhere, Wonderful!

I was shocked to discover that Leonardo DiCaprio is a far better actor than Matt Damon. I mean, they both kinda suck, but who knew?!

I loved it, everything I would want in a Scorsese picture.

noob3 and i went to see this and there was nobody in the theatre besides us. i loved it. i agree with whoever said casino was still better though.

i like how marky mark ended up winning. i didnt expect that.

pretty crazy plot twist in the end there Scorcese is definatley getting senile or somthin

I liked it a lot when I saw it. Drawn out a bit but a fun movie.

I never saw the original of what this was supposedly a "remake" of.
