What the fuck are you talking about? The FF series started to lose it's touch right after 7. As much as I liked 7, 7 started the whole trend of throwing in boring tenage characters with weird hair colors and absolute shit plot. FF9 was complete shit and the main character looked like the third Olsen twin who was outcasted because she had a tail. And FF10 can suck it. Tidus looks like a girl and there is absolutely nothing that seperates FF10 from the rest of the series. Same boring characters, same shit plot, same turn based elements, same random incounters, same shit you've played 10 million times before.

I, though, do feel that if i think the music's good enough, it's more than worth buying the game for. Assuming you've heard it and think so, anyway. No sense buying a game just for the fuck of it.

Ronge, you're whining because you don't like the new character designer. Tetsuya Nomura does have some shitty character ideas, i'll give you that. They made me not want to play FFIX and FFX, but i'm going to eventually work my way towards those, because i hear that they actually weren't that bad. And yes, i am kind of disappointed with the visual direction the games are taking. I think that the old is fusing too much with the new, (see the FFXII screens, but i'm not whining about Ashe ) but soon enough i'm sure we'll have our old-school ones back. And to be fair, Amano did do some pretty ugly drawings, too.

Well, I love all of the FF babes. Square is excellent at making cute RPG chicks, but they're too good at it, which is why all the new main male characters are a bunch of pussies. The guy in FF12 looks even gayer then Tidus, and Tidus looks like fucking Meg Ryan.

Thats something I would like to know too. All I commented on was the music really. Nothing about the game itself. But I could understand how a music buff would take a knock at the music as a knock on the game quality as a whole.

I agree with Rongi for the most part, except I think FFVII is way overrated. I blame it for this annually regurgitated 'thing' that FF has become. The chicks are hot and some of the monster designs are great, but the gameplay - or lack thereof - sucks and I will be happy when this series is finally put to death.
