Old Nov 3rd, 2004, 04:12 AM        Democracy was stupid anyway!
So here's where we talk about where this goes from here and log all the skidmarks on the name of democracy in general. Voter fraud needs to be looked at in Nevada, Florida, and Ohio, especially in the former two -

- Minorities being told they couldn't vote for various fraudulent reasons

- Minorities being intimidated from the polls

- Absentee ballots rejected for frivolous reasons (one given as 'not being printed on heavy enough paper')

- Democratic ballots found ripped up and in the trash at early-voting polling centers in Nevada

- Electronic voting machines having a large pre-existing Republican vote base before voting began in certain areas

Add your favorite indefensible injustice here yourself!

That, or you guys could concede the election with some class so we can avoid four more years of senseless partisan anger...

Just an idea...

From what I heard, the last one wasn't republican votes found in the electronic machine, it contained "4000 undetermined votes" which was cleared out after lawsuits were threatened by Kerry's and Bush's people.
Whoever did this knew they would be discovered, so putting "republican-votes" before it might not be wise if this was meant as an attack agaisnt them. It sounded much more like someone was trying to purposely make questions arise about the reliability of the machines. Because whoever had the ability to put them on, would also know that the machines would be inspected. Hell, you don't even have to know what one looks like to know that.

And as for the minorities being intimidated at the polls, I heard that everyone was being intimidated at the polls. And sadly both parties were found doing the intimidating at different prescincts. It always angers me more when I see people who are "on my side" doing things like this, more than anyone else.

By all means, I'm as much for a Republican sweep of all houses and allowing a crazed religious fanatic with nothing to lose to have his every whim granted as ANYBODY, but!

I was thinking that maybe we'd give reason and common sense a shot this time. It's the hopeless romantic in me, I think.

I was originally going to go the route of preechr and mention how this is just a thread to complain that we didn't win. But I decided just to play the devil's advocate instead.

What you're seeing here is a shattered faith in the decency and common sense of the American people trying to rationalize itself in widespread conspiracy.

But don't worry, guys. I'm sure we'll be reassured that America really is that stupid and you will get another four years of the least intelligent man to ever hold office.

My girlfriend is an american citizen and she applied and shit but didn't get her ballot.

I seriously think that all the above mentioned electoral practices are evil.

Oh, she'll probably get her ballot... in a few weeks. I honestly don't know why anyone would trust ANYTHING in the mail after all the screw-ups with the ballots. They should've FedEx'ed them all.

I'm not surprised. The voting process has always been corrupt. :/

I dont beleive that voting is real. The electorial colleges can vote for whoever the hell they want. People say that "well there hasnt been a college that has voted against the popular vote of their state in 50 years" but maybe they wanted that person to. The fact is whoever has more money wins in most cases.

I'm missing the point somehow. None of the stuff Bush supports and opposes applies to me, so the only thing I dislike about him is that he makes the US seem like the most powerhungry, dangerous country, EVER. (cept for mongolia). Someone fill my vast gaps in this field.

PLEASE Chojin, don't you remember, Vince's many homosexual co-workers all giggle when people talk about gay marriage, and then pat each other's bottoms and prance and preen a lot. Ergo, you know. Nuff said.

Hmmm....the adding of '12 inch cock' somehow seems like the little man was thinking just a tad too much about this. He won't have much luck though...your average gay isn't going to want it with an ugly fat dickhead.

As long as the underwater handjob action is not gay, then yes; america is for it. Well done Ahimp. That's the election right there.
