As some/many/all of you may know, the two sequels to Kingdom Hearts, the joint production of Square Enix and Disney Interactive, are close to release (actually the first sequel is already out in Japan).

Question is, does anyone here care? Does anyone here like the first Kingdom Hearts, or do you all see it as kiddy crap just because it has Disney characters in it?

Now, I've played Chain Of Memories (GBA, first sequel) and you have to see it to believe it. PS2 style CG intro (ala Final Fantasy's excellent cutscenes) on a GBA.

Whodathunkit?!

No shitting, it looks like it's straight off a PS2. In-game is just as sublime, but more GBA looking.

As for Kingdom Hearts II, which is technically Kingdom Hearts III as it is set directly after COM, looks to rock the world of KH fans. The trailers prove that and I cannot wait.

But, who else is looking forward to this action-RPG treat aside from me?

Kingdom Hearts was great. I will buy Kingdom Hearts II, but it's not close. Release date is Fall of 2005.

The first was great, and if I have money and can refrain from buying Guitar swag long enough, I will buy the second one.

1. Final Fantasy did not have cut scenes. It was an 8-bit game.

2. The singular form of "djinn" is "djinni."

3. I will begin eagerly awaiting Kingdom Hearts 2 when it is much closer to release than TEN MONTHS.

Perndog, your love of accuracy is terribly irritating.

It's good to know that people on this forum know a good game when they see one.
