You know how they have the numbers 64, 96, and 128 kbs that tells how good the quality of the song is? Is CD song quality 196 or is it higher? Can anyone tell me?

CD quality is, I think like 256. But 196 sounds JUST as good, and 128 sounds so slightly worse that you can't even tell. The moral is, download mp3's with bitrates of 128.

i think the EXACT quality is 1140. but anything above 160 sounds so close to it that it doesnt really matter.

cd-quality is a 44100 hz 16-bit stereo .wav file everything else is less

According to the mp3 ripper I use, it's 320kbps... personally I don't see a big difference when after 160kbps, they all sound pretty simliar after that!

320 kbps is so close most people won't be able to tell difference

128 is usually much better than radio-quality
