I just got off the phone with a guy that want's me to be the bass player for his cover band :/ I'm excited and dissapointed at the same time. Bon Jovi and Whitesnake are not my style.

just playing together - especially doing shows - is fun though. the band i'm in is some punk rock trio and it's really not my style at all (i like electronic stuff... this music bores me and just sounds 'old'... unoriginal)... but getting drunk and low and playing together with friends in front of crowds is fun regardless.

I've never played on stage I tend to forget that I'm hunched over and I look like a freak thank god for alchohol right :/

in general, the higher the alcohol intake, the sloppier the musical output. but then, there've been many grand moments that defy this rule. and the musical style and environment have a lot to do with the level of performance required.
