DVD/CD cleaners. Tell me if I'm right , if you clean a disc BUT it still has scratches on it, wouldn't it still have glitches in it?

Game stores usualy have a professional "buffer" that will repair damaged/scratched cd/dvd's for about 3 bucks a pop. or you could buy your own for $20-$40 (good to better) at like best buy or circuit city. i use good 'ole windex to clean mine, dont waste your money on something that just spins to clean them (using alcohol) when you can use a window cleaner on a very soft cloth wiping one way, top to bottom. not in a circle, to get the same results. (cleaning does not repair scratches!)

Wow, thanks man.

I was at blockbastard earlier today and they had 2 DVD cleaners for 39.99. It was battery operated. You just put the cleaning crap on it, and hit ''clean'' and it cleans it. But since it appeared to just ''spin in a circle'', I won't buy it...

From some obscure site I read, some scratch repairing lotions fill in the gaps. The scratch is still visible, but it doesn't mess with the laser optics.
