Super Mario Strikers

Has anybody played this? I've heard it does for soccer what Mario Kart did for racing games. From what I've seen it looks fun, but I don't wanna go out 'n pick it up without knowing more about it first. So yeah, have any of you tried it? If so, whaddaya think of the game?

i played a demo for it at target. it was a lot of fun at first, but since i was waiting for someone, i played it like 5 times. Im not sure if unlocking new fields and characters changes it up all that much, but the basic game lay got kinda boring after a while. Though i bet if i was playing a tournament, it wouldbe a lot more fun then playing the same team over and over. I dont know, i got bored, where as i can play mario tenis for hours. I would say that its worth renting, but like i said i just played the demo.

I played the demo at wal-mart and I didn't think it was that boring. Of course since it was the demo I only got to pick from a few parts of the gameplay. I would definately buy the game if I had the money right now.
