Does anyone know a good program for use in editting sprites? The ones I did for my Little Red Hood review really suck, and I'm damned sure there's something better than what I used.

I use Paint Shop Pro and make sure all images have the color depth reduced to 256. If you do this, they'll stay crisp and antialiasless. And remember not to save in jpeg format.

I use paint. It seems to work pretty good if you magnify it. Then I save it as a .bmp, and then I import it to another program and save it as a .gif. Paint tends to screw up the colors.
