Have been in the ER twice now.

racing heartbeat
difficulty breathing, feeling as though you 'can't get enough air'
terror that is almost paralyzing
dizziness, lightheadedness or nausea
trembling, sweating, shaking
choking, chest pains
hot flashes, or sudden chills
tingling in fingers or toes ('pins and needles')
fear that you're "going to go crazy or are about to die"

Had every last one of those syptoms during school, and escape from the nurses office to a town nearby. Got picked up by my dad and brought to the ER.

I guess even the most normal people can have problems.

It's such an awful feeling that I don't want to happen again.

I'm probably going to go to counseling. Currently taking medication for it. (Xantax)

Lucky bastards don't get to see me anymore

No, but I told a few spanish kids "I'm fighting for my life"

And told a crossing guard to call 911. :/

I called 911 at a payphone at a gas station, and my dada picked me up as the cops came.

Your list of symptoms was good found poetry. That has to be good for something. You're probably just all nervous about your homosexuality. I just want to say no one her will judge you. But that thing you've been doing the clamps and the lobster cracker? It's got to stop.

I've had one panic attack in my life. Last new year's eve, I was working at the bowling alley. It was infinitely busy, there was an infinite stream of assholes, and the guy I was working with was infinitely stupid. I was about to lose my shit, when my nose started bleeding. I ran to the bathroom, and sat on a chair holding my nose shut and thinking how great it was that I got a nosebleed, because it got me away from pure Hell.

When I even thought about going back there, I couldn't breath or see straight. I thought, correctly, that nothing could possibly be worse than what I had been doing that night. It was a weird feeling.

The only thing to do to prevent a panic attack from happening is to run amock and scream on the top of your lungs. But then, I forget, people who have panic attacks are usually too repressed to do anything like that.

Running amock actually helps. The screaming part doesn't though.

One of the symptoms is feeling the need to flee.

Ya, ive never had a panic attack, but ive had a seizure. Those things suck, especially when you wake up and you dont know where the hell you are. And the bump on the head usually hurts pretty bad.

That and you have to go through weeks of CT scans and shit like that.

I've had one of those too (panic attack). Fortunately, I was at a hospital at the time. Unfortunately, I was at the hospital because my grandfather died. Also unfortunately, I thought I might be having a heart attack, and justifiably so, because I have had one, and a panic attack feels similar. They gave me the Xanax too. But I wouldn't take it. Now, if I feel wound up, I just go to the gym.
