If we lived on Venus, we would celebrate Dick Clark's New Years Rockin' Eve about once an Earth Day.

What the hell does this mean? Venus doesn't revolve around the sun in one day. And if it means "Earth Day", as in once a year, that's not true either.

venus has a rotation period that is a little longer than its "year", but that doesn't mean it has one "day" per "year". since its rotation goes counter to the direction of its orbit, it actually gets almost two "days" per "year". so even if the putz hadn't added the "earth" before day, it still would've been wrong
