During our recent trip to the Bahamas we were fortunate enough to make our way over to an island that most people don't know about. It was an island that Disney invested millions in and then left for dead a few years later. The great thing is, they left everything behind and the locals had a field day with it... as did Hurricane Floyd.

wow, those locals really didn't like the place. Instead of working together to form a perfect utopia society in the ruins, they just looted and pillaged. They need to be exterminated. Worse then termites.

That really is a fantasy. To explore a huge abandoned something that was once great and magnificent, especially in a tropical location, is a wonderful dream.

Bought the damn property.

With all the destruction that's gone on over the years, I can't imagine the property would've been very expensive. Then you could've turned it into The Mock Resort, and showcased quality comedy like the UCB.

The coolest abandoned place anywhere close to here is Old Western State Insane Asylum. Perched on top an hill overlooking Fort Stelicoom park.

was there for a video documentary, and took a still photo. I swear, you can see a ghost in it. My friend swears he also saw it.
