VICTORIA, BC, CANADA - Has anyone ever told you that you look just like Cheryl Ladd? If so, you may have a shot at a role in a movie about
Charlie's Angels. The producers of
Behind the Camera: The Charlie's Angels Story are searching for a look-alike for the perky blond actress who achieved stardom after being cast as Farrah Fawcett's replacement on Aaron Spelling's hit 70s ABC-TV show. "She really has to be a ringer, with a modicum of acting talent," said Michael Larkin, executive producer of the NBC Movie of the Week. "You can't just have blue eyes and blond hair." The ideal candidate, said Larkin, would have those attributes and also be petite - between 5' and 5' 5" in height. The look-alike would have a single line of dialogue and be featured in a scene at the network in which Ladd introduces herself as the new angel to show's stars. Whoever plays Ladd will be paid standard industry wage as a featured player and would likely be required by Nov.12, he said.
