I just saw it with a few mates. It was really awful. I think it had a few good design ideas, ones that are slightly tired and overused in this day and age, however, but the acting was awful, and the story was boring and the conflict was barely there.

The worst part about it is that it was set up to me to be a film about female empowerment and, in it's own words, 'becoming your own hero', but in reality the weak and uninteresting characters spent the whole movie (apart from the 'dream' sequences) dressed as whores whilst crying and giving in to male dominance - only managing to overcome obstacles by using their sexuality.
The characters were so rubbish that two of them were killed off just so they didn't have to think up how to tie them in to the final scene. They were women who acted like little high school girls because that was half of their target audience - the other half being high school boys. No swearing or blood, but plenty of overly sexual insinuation and women consoling each other in their underwear. It was set in a whore house, but there was no outright mention of sex, as an M rating (Australian anyway) is about as high as you can go before parents start to ask questions before letting their 12 year olds see it.
I don't know if you would call it a twist at the end, as I don't know if it was meant to be one, but either way it was boring. As soon as I realised the final 'dream' action part was over, it was just a matter of waiting for it to end. The actual story dull, and the way it was played out didn't matter to me in the slightest.
Zeppelins don't fucking explode on fire when you shoot them with bullets, either.

Writing too much on a shite movie? Yes, but I literally just saw it ten minutes ago, so it's all still in my head.
